asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will state how many motor cars were imported into this country from the United States of America during the year 1910; and how many in the present year up to the latest date available?

The PRESIDENT of the BOARD of TRADE (Mr. Buxton)

During last year 1,101 complete motor cars and 104 chassis were imported from the United States. The imports in the present year up to the end of October have been 2,842 complete cars and thirty-eight chassis.
