HC Deb 08 November 1911 vol 30 cc1633-4
Lord CHARLES BERESFORD

asked with regard to the Government Amendment to Clause 43 (2) of the National Insurance Bill, wherein it states that it will give two-thirds representation to the insured persons, whether this two-thirds means two-thirds of the eighteen elected members, or two-thirds of the eighteen plus the four appointed, or two-thirds of twenty-two?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

If the Noble Lord will refer to the Amendments tabled on Monday he will see that the insured persons will have representation amounting to three-fifths of the total number of the Committee.
