§ Captain WARINGasked whether any administrative order had been made under Sections 9 and 10 of the Locomotives on Highways Act to vary the provisions of Section 3 of the Locomotives Amendment (Scotland) Act, 1878; and, if not, whether the issue of any such order was contemplated?
§ Mr. UREI fear I cannot add to answers given on previous occasions to my hon-Friend, to the effect that such an order as suggested can only be made for Scotland as a whole, and that the Government are not satisfied that there is sufficient agreement among those interested in the matter to justify the issue of such a general order.
