Mr. McKINNON WOODUnder Clause 8 as it stands disablement benefit is payable to persons "rendered unfit to provide their own maintenance by some specific disease or by bodily or mental disablement." I would remind the hon. and learned Member that it is because these words would probably lead to some variety of construction that my right hon. Friend has agreed to reconsider them on Report.
