§ Lord HENRY CAVENDISH - BENTINCKasked whether it is intended to omit from compulsory insurance under the National Insurance Bill all women home-workers not wholly or mainly dependent on their own earnings whose husbands are insured; and whether, seeing that the effect of such omission will be to encourage the employment of these women to the prejudice of others possibly more needy, he will suggest any provision to insure that the employment of such women will not be so encouraged?
