Resolutions reported from the Select Committee:—

1. "That, in the case of the East Kent Electric Power [Lords], Petition for Bill, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to proceed with their Bill."

2. "That, in the case of the Macclesfield and District Railless Traction and Electricity Supply Bill [Lords], Petition for Additional Provision, Re-committed Resolution of the 17th May, the Standing Orders ought to be dispensed with:—That the parties be permitted to insert their Additional Provision if the Committee on the Bill think fit, provided the Promoters do advertise notice of this Resolution in the next number of the "Macclesfield Courier" (being the newspaper in which was published the notice of the Additional Provision) in the following form:—
