HC Deb 25 May 1911 vol 26 cc424-5
Captain WARING

asked the Postmaster-General whether he has received a communication from the Rathven Parish Council with reference to a request for increased postal facilities for New Cemetery Lodge, Buckie; and whether, in view of the inconvenience caused by the existing arrangements, he can see his way to grant the desired improvement

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Herbert Samuel)

Application has been made by the parish council for a second delivery of letters at the New Cemetery Lodge, Buckie, but the number of letters which would be so delivered is not at present sufficient to warrant compliance with the request. I understand that a new hospital is being erected near the lodge, and when it is occupied the question of extending the second delivery shall be again considered.
