HC Deb 25 May 1911 vol 26 cc423-4
Mr. BOLAND

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he can state on what grounds an old age pension has been with- held from Daniel Crowley, Bridge Street, Caherciveen, in view of the evidence furnished as to his age?

The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the TREASURY (Mr. Hobhouse)

I understand that Crowley's claim to a pension was disallowed by the Local Government Board because they were not satisfied that he had attained statutory age.
