HC Deb 25 May 1911 vol 26 cc417-8
Captain CRAIG

asked the Chief Secretary for Ireland if he was aware that Mrs. Julia Carroll, of Knocknacurraheen, near Listowel, had her house fired into on the night of the 9th May; and what steps the Government had taken in the matter?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Inspector-General informs me that on the night of the 9th May two gun shots were fired into the dwelling-house of Jeremiah Carroll. Two arrests have been made, one of the persons arrested has been returned for trial, and the other has been discharged.
