HC Deb 23 May 1911 vol 26 c127
Mr. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether the inquiry into the rate of wages paid at the Army Ordnance Department at Colchester promised by the Secretary of State for War on 21st June, 1910, has now been completed; and when the statement on the subject generally which was promised on 21st February, 1911, may be expected?

The UNDER SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Colonel Seely)

The settlement of the question has been awaiting a conference with the Admiralty on several question of technical difficulty. This has now been held, and the new rates of wages will be announced very shortly.
