HC Deb 15 May 1911 vol 25 c1655
Mr. BOLAND

asked whether the President of the Board of Trade's attention has been called to the terms of the resolution passed by the Caherciveen Rural District Council on the 3rd instant, asking whether the recent change in time in the arrival of the morning train at Caherciveen has the sanction of the Board of Trade, and requesting that the original time be adhered to, as the late service of mails completely paralyses the commercial correspondence of Waterville, Portmagee, Valentia, Caherciveen, and Glenbeigh; and whether he proposes to take any and, if so, what action.

Mr. TENNANT

I have received a copy of the resolution referred to, but the alteration in question does not require the sanction of the Board of Trade, and I have therefore no power to interfere in the matter.
