§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGEThe terms of reference are as follows:—"To inquire into the changes which have taken place in the relations between Imperial and local taxation since the Report of the Royal Commission on Local Taxation in 1901, to examine the several proposals made in the Reports of that Commission, and to make recommendations on the subject for the consideration of His Majesty's Government with a view to the introduction of legislation at an early date." It will be for the Committee to decide what questions they will consider.
