HC Deb 31 March 1911 vol 23 cc1761-2

Order for Second Reading read.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That the Bill be now read a second time."

Sir FREDERICK BANBURY

I object.

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Ure)

May I appeal to the hon. Baronet to allow this Bill to go through in deference to the universal opinion of the Scottish Members.

Sir F. BANBURY

The Government has taken away the time of private Members. If they bring their Bill forward at the proper time no doubt it will receive the consideration of the House.

Objection being taken, Debate stood adjourned.

Whereupon Mr. SPEAKER adjourned the House without Question put, pursuant to Standing Order No. 3. Adjourned at Ten minutes after Five o'clock, till Monday next, 3rd April.
