§ The FINANCIAL SECRETARY to the WAR OFFICE (Mr. Acland)May I appeal to hon. Gentlemen opposite to allow the non-effective Army Votes to be taken. Instead of half a day being taken on Report, the whole day was occupied, and we only got Votes A and 1, leaving these non-effective Votes as to pensions, which are non-controversial. I may point out that 1658 the extra non-counted day will be given, and therefore I would appeal to hon. Members to allow these Votes to be taken.
