§ Mr. MONTAGUThe limit for this year's spring crop of opium was fixed at 360,000 acres. The limit for the 1911–12 has not yet been fixed. The number of chests in balance on the 31st of this month is estimated at 32,598. This stock will not be supplemented by the crop of the pre sent year until November next.
