HC Deb 20 March 1911 vol 23 c10
Mr. GREENE

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury what is the cause of the delay in appointing the Committee on Public Petitions; and if he can say when the appointment will be made?

Mr. WEDGWOOD BENN (for Master of Elibank)

The Public Petitions that have so far been presented are extremely few, and there has therefore been no work for the Committee to do; but it will be set up at once.
