Mr. JAMES THOMAS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that a weighman named G. Player, employed by the Cardiff Railway Company, was killed on the 11th March, and that at the inquest on deceased the jury expressed the opinion that the place was insufficiently lighted; and what action he proposes to take in the matter?

Mr. TENNANT

An inquiry into this accident will be held, and the question of the lighting of the place will be considered.
