asked whether the representations made by the Board of Agriculture to the Treasury in regard to the constitution of the Advisory Committee on fishery matters have produced any, and, if so, what result, or, if not, what is the present position of the negotiations?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

No representations have been made by the Board of Agriculture to the Treasury on this matter.

Mr. NORMAN CRAIG

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture informed the House that such representations had been made?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

I am not aware of that.
