HC Deb 13 March 1911 vol 22 c1846
Mr. ADKINS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention had been called to the fact that there were now before Parliament a number of private Bills which contemplated the enterprise of trackless trollies along a large number of public highways; and what steps he proposed to take to secure the application of general and equitable regulations to enterprises of this kind?

Mr. BUXTON

There are a number of Private Bills of the character indicated, and I am consulting with the authorities of both Houses of Parliament as to the steps that should be taken in dealing with them.
