Mr. HARCOURTNo proposals for the re-establishment of a direct mail service between this country and Jamaica have been received from the Island Government. If such proposals came before me, they will, of course, receive careful consideration; but I may say at once that I see no prospect of an arrangement being made on the basis suggested by the hon. Member.
