Gentleman would cause inquiry to be made into the facts concerning the destroyer "Maori," which caused a man to lose his life by being washed off the barge "Petrel" on 8th February at the Nore, and as to the second destroyer (name unknown) which steamed by and rendered no assistance; and whether the Admiralty will cause some compensation to be given to the man's family?
