§ Mr. KEIR HARDIEMay I ask the Lord Advocate a question of which I have not been able to give private notice to the Home Secretary: Whether he is aware that prisoners and accused persons who were apprehended in connection with the trade dispute at Dowlais were taken to prison handcuffed, and whether the Home Secretary will make representations to the authorities to prevent this quite unnecessary and most undesirable practice?
