Mr. JOHN WILSONasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware of the delays experienced in obtaining telephonic communication between collieries and the rescue station in Newcastle-on-Tyne; and, in consideration of the results which might follow from such delay in the event of a disaster, will he take steps to secure prompt communication in such cases?
