§ Mr. ROWLANDSasked the President of the Local Government Board whether his attention has been called to the fact that a number of families have been evicted at West Mailing, Kent, on account of their houses being unfit for habitation; whether the local authority, before evicting the people, had taken any steps to re house them under the Housing and Town-Planning Act; and whether proper housing accommodation will be provided for the labourers of West Mailing and their families?
