HC Deb 02 June 1911 vol 26 cc1353-4
Mr. DUNCAN MILLAR

asked on what date the draft Report of the Fishery Board for Scotland for the year 1910 was transmitted from Edinburgh to London for presentation to Parliament, and how long it has been in. the hands of the Scottish Office?

The LORD ADVOCATE (Mr. Ure)

I am not aware what my hon. Friend means by the draft Report of the Fishery Board. I may state, however, that the precise date at which a report is received at the Scottish Office is not decisive as to the date of publication, which my hon. Friend no doubt has in view in asking his question, the practice being to present reports "in dummy" immediately before actual issue. Every effort has been made to secure early publication of the Fishery Board report.

Mr. MILLAR

May I ask when the report is likely to be issued?

Mr. URE

I should think it will be issued next week.
