§ Mr. WEDGWOOD BENNThe President of the Board of Trade has received the statement referred to, and has communicated a copy of it to the Home Secretary. The Home Secretary would refer the hon. Member to the answer which he gave to a question on this subject on the 24th April last. Until the inquiries of the Inter-Departmental Committee are completed, he is unable to make any statement as to legislation.
