§ Mr. McKENNAI must remind the hon. Member that the contractors and not the Admiralty are responsible for the provision of lifebuoys and fittings. Arrangements have been made by the contractors for attaching fifteen fathoms of line to each buoy, and the representatives of the Admiralty are satisfied with this length.
