§ Mr. McKENNAThe total number of men of all grades discharged from the dockyards since the 1st April, 1911, is 1,503, of which 876 were entered for temporary service and were discharged on completion of the work. In addition, there were 593 discharges due to natural wastage. As regards the second part of the question, further reductions are contemplated at Portsmouth before November next.
