HC Deb 12 July 1911 vol 28 cc378-9
Mr. PIKE PEASE

asked the Undersecretary of State for War whether the Australian Commonwealth Government has recently authorised the publication of a military magazine by the General Staff of that Dominion, which will be issued free of charge to all officers of the Australian Forces; and, if so, whether it is the intention of His Majesty's Government to adopt the same course in reference to the "Army Review"?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for WAR (Colonel Seely)

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The reply to the second part of the question is that over 1,000 copies of the "Army Review" are distributed free of charge to general officers commanding, staff officers, officers' reference and mess libraries, and other military institutions. This number is thought sufficient.
