§ Mr. JAMES PARKERasked whether, in view of the power given to the Local Government Board to utilise any Poor Law institution for the purpose of the provision of sanatoria and other institutions for the treatment of tuberculosis or such other diseases, under Section 47 of the National Insurance Bill, clauses will be inserted in the Act to safeguard the interests of officers in such manner as was provided in Section 120 of the Local Government Act, 1888, and Section 28 of the City of London (Union of Parishes) Act, 1907?
§ Mr. HOBHOUSENo such power is given by Clause 47 which enables the Local Government Board to make grants for the provision of sanatoria where required.
