§ Mr. McKENNAThe designed speeds of the destroyers for the British Navy referred to are as follows:—Programme 1908-9, "Beagle" class, 27 knots; 1909-10, "Acorn" class, 27 knots; 1910-11, new "Acorn" class, Admiralty design, 27 knots; special, "Archer" and "Attack," 28 knots; special, "Acheron" and "Ariel," 29 knots; special, "Badger" and "Beaver," 30 knots; and special "Fire-drake," "Lurcher," and "Oak," 32 knots. With regard to the destroyers laid down in 1113 Germany the designed speeds are to be found in "Nauticus" for 1911. We have no official information concerning them.
