asked how many aliens have-been registered at the Labour Exchanges during the month of May, in pursuance of the instructions issued by the Labour Exchanges Department on 25th July, 1910; and in how many cases were aliens recommended for vacancies during that month?

I am not in a position to give these figures for the month of May, but I have recently issued instructions for a monthly return to be obtained on this subject, and if the hon. Member will repeat his question in a fortnight I shall be glad to give him the results of the first return covering the five weeks ending 30th June.
