HC Deb 27 February 1911 vol 22 cc31-2
Mr. PONSONBY

asked the hon. Member for Southampton, as representing the First Commissioner of Works, whether steps are to be taken to make the necessary structural alterations in order to preserve in a worthy manner the ancient chapel of Stirling Castle, which is at present being desecrated by being used as a store and a refreshment room?

The TREASURER of the HOUSEHOLD (Mr. Dudley Ward)

The First Commissioner is in communication with the War Office upon the matter; no effort will be spared to preserve the ancient chapel.
