§ Mr. JOHNasked whether, in drawing up his scheme for workmen inspectors of collieries, he will provide that for all Welsh collieries only Welsh-speaking workmen inspectors be appointed?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLIt will not be necessary to insert any provision on the subject in the scheme now under consideration, as the requirement in the Coal Mines Act as to the appointment of Welsh-speaking inspectors in Wales will apply to the new class of sub-inspectors equally with the existing inspectors.
