§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Commissioners of National Education inform me they are unable to state when they may be in a position to make a grant towards the erection of the school referred to. The preliminary investigations in connection with the case have been completed, but the funds placed at the Commissioners' disposal for the erection of vested school houses having been exhausted it will not be possible for them to sanction a grant in this case until additional money is forthcoming.
