HC Deb 15 February 1911 vol 21 cc1052-3
Mr. WILLIAM ABRAHAM

asked the Postmaster General, if it is his intention to make any changes in the personnel of the higher appointments in the Dublin Post Office prior to the taking over of the telephones next year?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

The answer is in the negative.

Mr. WILLIAM ABRAHAM

asked what extension of service, if any, has been granted to higher officials in the Dublin Post Office over sixty years of age?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

Two of the higher officials in the Dublin Post Office recently attained the age of sixty, and another will attain that age during the current year. As these three officers are thoroughly efficient, I propose to retain their services for the present.
