HC Deb 14 February 1911 vol 21 cc887-8
Mr. J. P. FARRELL

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether the Inland Revenue authorities at Mullingar have yet been supplied with copies of the forms on which persons who had paid taxes on petrol not used for motor purposes were entitled to a rebate of the whole of the tax when used for public or private lighting; and, if not, would he see that these forms for claiming exemption or abatement are at once supplied?

Mr. HOBHOUSE

The Customs and Excise officers at Mullingar are provided with a stock of forms of application for rebate of the duty on motor spirit, and copies have been supplied to persons claiming rebate.
