HC Deb 14 February 1911 vol 21 c880
Mr. NEWMAN

asked whether His Majesty's Government have had under consideration the proposals of the Greek Premier to reconstitute the Grecian Constitution on a double instead of a single chamber basis; and whether, should such change take effect, they will safeguard the interests of any British subject at present holding appointment in the Greek consular or civil service?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

I am not aware that the proposed Amendments to the Greek Constitution will in any way affect British interests, but any legitimate complaints from British subjects will, of course, be considered by His Majesty's Government.
