asked what was the amount of the grants made by the Development Commission to Ireland and to Great Britain respectively?

Up to the present date the Treasury have agreed on the recommendation of the Development Commission to advance from the Development Fund the following sums:—

Great Britain, £53,550, of which £7,000 is a loan without interest.

Ireland, £35,000, of which £25,000 is a lean without interest.
