Gentleman will state what action, if any, the Estates Commissioners propose to take in the matter of the application for reinstatement or for a new holding of Patrick Murrin, who was evicted on 31st January, 1905, from his holding of land on the Lewis estate, situated in the townland of Muck-duff, Dromore, West Union, county Sligo; and if he will explain why this case has not been already dealt with by the Commissioners, seeing that the tenants appealed to them two years ago?
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Estates Commissioners have received an application from Patrick Murrin for reinstatement in a holding formerly occupied by him on this estate. His application was not received within the period prescribed by the Evicted Tenants Act, 1907, and cannot, therefore, be dealt with under the provisions of that Act.
