Mr. LAMBERTIt is customary to pay writers below the grade of principal writer for time worked in excess of forty-eight hours a week in connection with the annual demands and the annual programme of dockyard work, and the revaluation of stock. Applications for the payment of overtime on other occasions are dealt with on their merits.
