Mr. McKINNON WOODIt is estimated that 10 per cent. of all households in England and Wales, or roughly 800,000, employ servants, and that in 60 per cent., or 480,000 of these households, a single servant is kept. I do not know how far this estimate would apply to the rest of the United Kingdom.
