HC Deb 04 December 1911 vol 32 cc999-1000
Sir HILDRED CARLILE

asked whether the right hon. Gentleman has received detailed reports of the working of the small holdings created under the recent Small Holdings Act; and, if so, will he lay the information upon the Table of the House?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

The Board do not usually receive detailed reports of the working of individual holdings, but information with regard to several of the larger schemes which have been approved by the Board was printed in Part I. of the Annual Report of Proceedings under the Act for 1909, and I shall be glad to consider whether it would be possible to include similar information in the Report for the current year.

Sir H. CARLILE

Will the right hon. Gentleman take steps to obtain the information in respect to the smaller holdings?

Mr. RUNCIMAN

No, Sir. I draw no distinction between the smaller and the larger holdings. The distinction I drew was between individual holdings and special schemes.

Sir H. CARLILE

If the right hon. Gentleman will look at the early part of his reply he will see that he makes reference only to large holdings.

Mr. RUNCIMAN

No.

Sir H. CARLILE

I think so.
