HC Deb 04 December 1911 vol 32 c1029
Mr. BUTCHER

asked whether, in the case of a society consisting of persons entitled to rights in a superannuation or other provident fund which desires to become an approved society under the provisions of Clause 24, it is necessary that members of the committe of management of the society, other than the employers' representatives, shall be elected by ballot; whether it would be possible for such society to form a separate section of insured persons with a separate committee of management for administering the benefits under Part I. of the Bill; and, if so, whether it would be necessary that the committee of management which administers the superannuation or other benefit funds not arising under the Bill should be elected by ballot?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

The answer to the first and second questions is in the affirmative; and to the last in the negative.
