§ Mr. TENNANTThe mean of the monthly percentages of unemployment in certain trade unions in the five years ending 1905 was 4.6 as compared with 5.5 in the five years ending 1910. During 1911 the percentage has varied from 3.9 to 2.5, the mean of the seven months ending 31st July being 3.1.
