§ Mr. CHARLES PRICEasked the Secretary to the Treasury, whether all income schedule claims for repayment of Income Tax in Scotland are delayed two or three weeks before being dealt with and adjusted, and when these claims are ready to be paid they require to be sent to London to be signed there by a Commissioner, thereby causing a further delay of two or three days; and, if so, whether steps will be taken to remedy the hardship to people of limited means of having to wait for repayment of money due to them by the Government?
