HC Deb 07 August 1911 vol 29 c788
Mr. CHARLES BATHURST

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in order, as far as possible, to secure uniformity of method in arriving at the original land valuations throughout Great Britain, he would give instructions that all decisions on matters of principle given by referees under Section 33 of The Finance (1909–10) Act, 1910, or by His Majesty's judges, should be made public by notification to the press and also to the Surveyors' Institution and other leading professional societies concerned in land valuation?

Mr. LLOYD GEORGE

I will consider the hon. Member's suggestion.
