HC Deb 07 August 1911 vol 29 c783
Mr. DEVLIN

asked the Postmaster-General whether he has received copies of the resolutions passed at a mass meeting of the postal telegraph staff at Belfast on the 20th May last; whether, on inquiry, he has satisfied himself as to the accuracy of the statements made at that meeting by the several speakers regarding the condition of affairs in the Belfast telegraph department; and what steps, if any, have been taken to effect a remedy?

The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Herbert Samuel)

The inquiry is at present incomplete, but I hope soon to be able to make a statement on the subject.
