Mr. MacCALLUM SCOTTasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the increasing public interest in Turkish affairs, he can promise that the reports of His Majesty's Consular representatives in the European and Asiatic provinces of the Ottoman Empire for the year 1910 shall be laid upon the Table before the end of the Session?
§ Sir EDWARD GREYI do not consider that any useful purpose would be achieved by the publication of the reports received 559 during the year 1910 from His Majesty's Consular officers in the European and Asiatic provinces of the Ottoman Empire in regard to political conditions in their respective Consular districts. The majority of the Consular trade reports for the Ottoman Empire for the year 1910 have already been issued and laid.
