§ Mr. NEWMANasked whether a Government employé who by way of sick pay, medical attendance, and gratuity on discharge draws benefits equal to those proposed under the National Insurance Bill, but whose wages have been reduced by a certain sum weekly as a set off for the grant of such benefit, will or will not, either at the option of the War Office or himself, be held to fall within exception (b) of Part II. of the First Schedule of the Bill?
